What if you could give hope to someone this Christmas?

Nothing you can wrap. No gift cards. Simply real, God-shaped, life-transforming hope. While Jesus often had to remind his own disciples to never be afraid, his message was very clear to them and us: hope replaces fear in our hearts. Hope is at the heart of the Christmas Gospel message of the birth of Christ.

Unity Christian Academy stands in that long line of hope replacing fear. This is the gift we give the parents and students we serve.

I’m happy to report that there is a growing stream of hope seen in the increased awareness of Unity’s mission, in changed lives, in growing donor support, and in our significant enrollment growth. For the first time we have a waiting list. We now have students and families who come from Lansing Christian, Calvin Christian, Deer Creek Christian, and Calvary Academy, continuing their commitment to Christian education at the high school level. We also have students from surrounding public and Catholic schools, making for a delightful student body mix. These developments are signs of hope.

We’ve also begun the search for a new school home. Before long we will outgrow our current home in Calvary Community Church in South Holland. This too is a hopeful sign of God’s blessing.

So, we turn to you. We ask you to remember Unity in your year-end gifting. With your gift you will accelerate our witness to the Gospel of Jesus Christ. At the start of our second year of operation, God has provided people of faith and hope to support our efforts, people who are willing to dream of a better, hopeful future for students in Chicago’s southern suburbs through a high school that is redefined and redesigned.

We wish you the blessing of hope on your celebration of Christ’s coming! Please join us in replacing fear with the hope for a brighter future. That’s our gift for the students at Unity Christian Academy.
