Two items:

Encouragement | It is an absolute joy to work with your children, whether in person or virtual. They bring laughter, keen insight, and honest displays of friendship that bring life and vibrance to this community. This very moment, I pray that the Lord would encourage you in your role as a parent. What a joyful burden it is.
Announcements |
- The Covid Planning Team will meet again this Tuesday. As you know, the Covid numbers are on the rise. While UCA is not making any changes for the upcoming week, the team will gather to discuss the current situation and what next steps might be warranted.
- Mod 2 is ending soon. Take this opportunity to engage with your students about their learning, using the language of learning targets. The targets appear in your student's gradebook on Otus. Here is a reminder about how to view grades. *Scroll down to the standards-based part*
- Pre-planned absences. When a pre-planned absence occurs (funeral, health appointment, etc.), it is mandatory that the student fills out a Pre-Planned Absence Form. In-person learners: these can be picked up in the office. Remote learners: see attachment.
- Building Schedule
  - If your student is not in a co-curricular activity after school, they need to be picked up by 4:15pm.
  - As per our covid protocol, students who leave the building after school are not permitted to return.
  - New co-curriculars are starting soon. Stay tuned.
