Next Week:

  • On Monday, February 1, a new daily student schedule will take effect. This has already been communicated to students and will be communicated again this week. Parents will be emailed a digital copy of the new schedule later this week. Of note: transition times between classes will shorten from 10 minutes to 5 minutes, all four blocks will now meet all five days, Unity Groups will meet four times a week, and independent work time will begin on Thursdays and Fridays in the afternoons. This new schedule is intended to last for the remainder of the school year.

Open House Invitation Cards:

  • Recruitment for the Class of 2025 is moving forward at an excellent pace. Enrollment interviews are being conducted and several acceptance letters have already been sent. We are grateful to God for the families he is sending to Unity Christian Academy.

    Today, your student is being sent home with two physical postcards. These postcards are invitations to visit UCA for an open house. This is our ask: along with your student, would you place those postcards in the hands of two people who would be a good fit at UCA? As a reminder, we are accepting applications from current high schoolers looking to transfer and current 8th graders. The Class of 2025 will cap at 25 students.

UCA’s Celebration of Black History Month:

  • UCA is excited to celebrate Black History Month during the month of February. The theme and special events for the month will be announced in next week’s parent newsletter.

Re-Focus: UCA’s Month of Spiritual Revitalization:

Our final spiritual discipline for Re-Focus is Sabbath. Students, families, and staff are invited to adopt Lifestyle Sabbath and practice Dedicated Sabbath. Click here to view chapel from last week Friday for an explanation of Lifestyle & Dedicated Sabbath.
