Please mark your calendars for our first Dine & Dive! This will be a time for parents to connect, collaborate, and learn with and from one another. Conversations will include academic, social-emotional, and spiritual topics. Dine & Dives will be held once each Module. Remember, it is BYOD. This event will be held at UCA.
Mums on a Mission:
It’s that time of year again! Promote access to Christian education in Chicago’s southland by purchasing mums from UCA! 40% of all mum proceeds supports the mission of UCA. All premium mums are $12. Colors are pink/purple, red, orange, white, and yellow. The order deadline is Monday, September 6 at 10am. Common Ground:
As part of our Parent Fellowship, UCA is launching our version of the already established Common Ground program. Common Ground is a program in which your family will be partnered with another family from a different cultural background. Through regular, informal meetings arranged by you and your partner family, you will explore differences, correct misunderstandings, and discovery similarities that unify you to each other.
If you desired to sign up at Parent Orientation, but were unable to, please email Mrs. Bootsma at cbootsma@weareuca.org to do so. Don’t miss this opportunity to create a meaningful relationship with another family!
Phoenix Cup Golf Outing:
Unity Christian Academy is proud to host the 2nd Phoenix Cup Golf Outing on Friday, September 17 at the Glenwoodie Golf Club. In our second year, we anticipate more than 80 golfers and 20 volunteers to join this community event. Our fundraising goal is $25,000.
