Dress Code Reminder:

  • As the weather changes outside, it is necessary for us to re-communicate the UCA Dress Code Policy. Students found in violation of this policy will receive a disciplinary referral from faculty/staff and consequence from administration. As parents, we ask for your partnership in this important matter of student conduct and school culture.

UCA Dress Code Policy

To allow students the ability to creatively express themselves through clothing, Unity Christian Academy has adopted a dress code policy instead of a uniform policy. The overarching expectation is that students dress for school in such a way that they are prepared for learning

It is also the expectation that students dress in such a way that they contribute to the overall learning environment for their peers and educators, and do not distract from, nor disrupt, learning.

Students are not allowed to wear any clothing that:

  • Reveals undergarments

  • Does not cover the midsection

  • Harms the community with profane, vulgar, or intentionally-offensive messaging

* Note: Faculty & staff reserve the right to ask students to remove hats and hoods in any UCA environment where they consider learning to be disrupted. There may be occasions throughout the year in which students are asked to dress in formal attire.

If there is a concern related to a student’s attire, a conversation between administration and the student/parent may be requested.
